~~Greek Life Relations Chair~~

Gabriel Diaz is a very cultured and involved person in the FAU community. Gabriel was born in Puebla, Mexico, and lived in Madrid, Spain for 5 years until he moved to Miami, Florida where he lived most recently, until 2015 after being accepted to FAU and living in Boca Raton, where he is expected to graduate one year early due to accumulating 36 college credits while in attending Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Florida. Gabriel is fluent in both Spanish and English and has been a very active member of the FAU community since his acceptance.

Gabriel was initiated into Pi Kappa Phi fraternity on November of 2015 and immediately was elected as the Treasurer of the fraternity after winning the election with an overwhelming majority. Gabriel, was also a member of the FAU House of Representatives where he helped pass many resolutions and bills to help the FAU community and its students. Furthermore, he recently got elected as one of the few Greek Life Student Ambassadors where he explained Greek Life, the great experiences that have arisen from it, and the benefits of being a fraternity man to all of the incoming freshmen. Gabriel is currently majoring in Multimedia Communications: Journalism while also trying to attain a minor in Spanish, his native language. Gabriel aspires to become a successful soccer commentator since he has been watching and enjoying the sport his whole life.

His bi-cultural background and focus on Greek Life and its benefits to the community, has made him very fit for making him Best Buddies’ Greek Relations chair. Gabriel is beyond excited to be able to share the benefits that Best Buddies has to offer to all of the students in Greek Life.

Hi everyone my name is Garrett mayersohn and I'm extremely excited to be serving as the social media Cordinator for best buddies FAU for the 2016 2017 school year! Besides having a personal connection with Best buddies all four years of high school now almost halfway done with college I look forward to coordinating and managing the social media efforts for Best buddies Fau . I was born with cerebral palsy but that has never stopped me from going after my dreams of pursuing a career in the media/entertainment industry .

I am so excited to be a part of an Organization that Shares part of my philosophy for life which is Break down barriers Break down walls. Thank you all for being a part of this tremendous cause.
